Issue #30

Editor’s Note

I finally finished The $100 Startup. It’s an interesting read but beyond being a success journal for lots of folks it doesn’t add a whole lot more to the conversation if you’re already familiar with Lean Startup and customer driven product building. If you’re not familiar, it’s a gentle introduction.

I’m now reading the revised Work The System (it’s a free PDF download and totally worth the email pitches to join his Academy product) with the goal to start systemizing my business.

Is this something you’re interested in? My thoughts on a book, maybe a deeper analysis, action plan? Would you like to see more of this? Let me know, shoot an email to jschoolcraft@aissaclabs.com.

This week’s newsletter is brought to you by me. I built Freelance Funnel, a service that takes the headaches out of finding new leads. If you’re a new freelancer, or don’t have a big enough referral network to keep your pipeline full, you’ll definitely want to check it out. There’s even a 30 day free trial, so there’s nothing to lose.
